KHIMIA 2011

Premier of Munsch at KHIMIA

From October 24-27 of this year, the KHIMIA 2011 took place in Moscow. This tradefair is the biggest exhibition for the chemical industry in Russia and can be compared to the Achema, taking place in Frankfurt every third year. This can also be examined by checking on the companies and institutes contributing in this exhibition. More than 600 enterprises out of more 33 countries presented their products.

The main topics at the exhibition were:

• Equipment for fabrication of chemical and petrochemical products

• Technologies for processing of raw material

• Modern material innovations

• Ecologically friendly technologies and waste-free chemical processing

• Technical remedies for marketing and sales.

Munsch was represented on this tradefair for the first time, presenting their range of plastic chemical pumps. As a globally operating half-inferior enterprise, Munsch introduced their products to the Russian and Asian experts of the audience and thereby reacted on the growing demands from the Russian and Eastern European areas.

Central topic of the presentations were the chemical pumps for steel- and chemical industry, especially focused on the basic-chemistry.

Furthermore the fields of metallurgy and environmental engineering were covered.

Munsch introduced both horizontal as well as vertically submerged pumps. The benefits of those pumps are robustness and high operation safety. Also the easy maintenance and quick availability of spare parts were put in the main focus.

One of the most discussed topics on occasion of the tradefair was the pumping of aggressive and abrasive liquids with high solid content.

During all 4 opening days of the exhibition a high number of visitors was present.

The feedback of the visitors confirmed the correctness of the decision to participate at this exhibition.
